Mitsuhide(Kentaro Inada) Future Challenge

HigoZogan

I asked Mitushide（Kentaro Inada) craftsman about his aspirations for his future activities.

In the short term, he would like to shorten the lead time for his order production, which has been waiting for two years, and increase the number of customers and fans as well as improve his recognition. At the same time, he would like to hold hands-on classes at elementary school and university every year. He also wants to offer the same kind of classes for the general public to cultivate successors of HigoZogan with a strong and wide base background.

In the long term, he would like to be careful not to be stubborn as the art creator and make his customers enjoy their daily life with his artwork.  To reach that goal, he understands that he needs to improve his skills more with his sincere study of this art as a true craftsman. He is also considering creating an environment where people can feel more familiar with HigoZogan such as at workshops and stores. He would like to expand his fans overseas and make them visit Japan and him as inbound travelers after this COVID-19.

EnArtEx is currently focusing on the Kyushu region (excluding Japanese swordsmiths) to introduce the Japanese traditional craftsman.  So far, we have introduced the following craftsmen at the beginning, but we plan to move on to introducing the swordsmith from now on. At the same time, we will follow up on the latest activities and news of each craftsman frequently.  In the near future, we would like to introduce these craftsmen through video to you all.  During the process of this growing such transmissions, we appreciate it if you (subscribers) could eventually support us by paying a small monthly donation for our coverage.
